Inspirerade av Rival Sons och Greta Van Fleetlikväl som Hozier personifierar Children of the Sün både den bekymmerslösa, såväl som den reflekterande sidan av klassisk rockmusik.

Senaste albumet Roots (SignRecords, 2022) speglar en resa genom livet mot att hitta sig själv, med naturenpå sin sida. Det är tvära kast mellan mot- och medgångar, styrka och sårbarhet,ljus och mörker. Låten Leaves fick en hedrande femteplats på listan över 2022års bästa rocklåtar, av Aftonbladets hårdrocksrecensent Sofia Bergström. 2023gjorde de en bejublad konsert på Sweden Rock Festival, blev hyllade av P4 ochsläppte en musikvideo till sin senaste svängiga singel Come With Us.
